Construction of the Ancoats Mobility Hub is now complete, and is now available for the public to use.
Ancoats Mobility Hub is an innovative project that supports the future development of the wider Ancoats area. The Hub provides spaces for resident / businesses and visitor parking, taking vehicles off local roads, as well as providing sustainable transport options.
The Hub includes:
• 150 secure bike parking spaces and changing facilities (Spokesafe)
• 102 Electronic vehicle charging points, with potential for more
• Up to 30 spaces for car club / car share / car rental schemes (Enterprise Car Rental)
• 406 car parking spaces for residents and visitors
• Parcel delivery hub
• 400 rooftop solar panels
• Ground floor spaces that will bring health and wellbeing and vibrancy to this new neighbourhood
• Over 400sqm of green wall
• Over 1300sqm of new public realm and new walking routes, connected to Ancoats Green
