Good Neighbours Days resume

Last week our Good Neighbours Day resumed with the first event being held in Wigan on Wednesday 16 October.

These events are a great opportunity for prospective residents to meet different teams from within the Jigsaw Group. They also allow our residents to ask questions and get information which will help them once they have moved in.

Over 30 residents attended with their friends and family.  All enjoyed refreshments whilst getting a chance to meet our partner organisations from the local community. Due to their funding from the Jigsaw Foundation, Wigan Youth Zone generously offered free memberships to our residents and engaged with them about the current sessions they’re running.

Residents were also able to get information about Jigsaw services, like our Jigsaw Rewards scheme. We had great feedback from the event with people saying it was really useful.

Our Neighbourhood Engagement Officer, Gemma Bennett, organised the event and was there to welcome everyone. Gemma is planning to roll out the Good Neighbours Days across our other areas. She will also carry on with events across the upcoming Jigsaw developments.
