Jigsaw Homes Signs Dying to Work Charter

Jigsaw Homes Group has signed a new charter to help support colleagues if they are diagnosed with a terminal illness.

Our senior leaders were joined by TUC (Trade Union Congress) North West Regional Secretary, Jay McKenna alongside gas fitter Steve Arnold, Jigsaw’s Unite the Union representative, to sign the Dying to Work charter last week.

By signing the charter, Jigsaw confirms its commitment to making sure all colleagues have their jobs protected with the ability to choose how they spend their time after diagnosis, whether that is continuing to work, or not.

Hilary Roberts, Chief Executive of Jigsaw Homes Group said: “We appreciate a terminal illness diagnosis is an extremely difficult time in a colleague’s life. Signing the charter was something we could easily commit to because of our current policies and precedent already set, and will give our colleagues peace of mind when they need our support.”
