Platting Gets Pampered

Adactus recently gained funding from Manchester City Councils Valuing Older People Fund as part of Manchester’s’ Full of Life Festival to give a local coffee morning the celebrity treatment! Residents were treated to hand massages and manicures whilst snacking on toast and cream cakes. Just like celebrities at award ceremonies they were also given goodie bags to take home to carry on their five star treatment at home.

There have also been a range of activities taking place in Butler Court from Thai Chi to Line Dancing to Silk Painting. The activities take place every Thursday and will run up to Christmas. Upcoming activities are listed below:

3rd Dec 09 - pm Healthy Hatha – very gentle yoga and relaxation techniques
10th Dec 09 - pm Simple Safety – self defence and safety tips for older people
17th Dec 09 - pm Super Salsa – salsa class
