Passion for Fashion

Adactus worked in partnership with The Manchester College to help young people customise their own clothes to create stylish, fashionable outfits.  The students used Moston Campus as their base and received expert tuition from tutor Carolyn Roberts.

The course ended with a hugely successful celebration at the Manchester Town Hall at a real live fashion show on Thursday 26th August, thanks to Southway Housing, City South Housing and Affinity Sutton.  Adactus wishes to thank all the students who were involved as well as The Manchester College and hopes to run a similar project next year.  The photo shows Adactus participant Ruth Clare modelling the dress she designed and created for the project.
