Over 55’s walking club
The group has around 10-15 members who have braved the extreme weather conditions to ramble around the local area. Armed with their step counters and comfortable shoes residents have been adventuring around the area for six weeks now, we have even had a celebrity appearance to offer advice and inspiration from This Morning’s “Charlie Walduck”. Due to the popularity of the group Adactus are continuing the group with trips planned to Dovestones in the Peaks, Hollingworth Lake in Rochdale and Rivington in Bolton. Members of the group have even agreed to start their own events committee to arrange further trips out!
