Neighbours band together in Miles Platting

The groups of neighbours successfully bid for grants £200 to hold their very own parties. Adactus Housing supported the group to make the bids and organise their parties which included bouncy castles, face painters, arts and crafts, music and food. Adactus even teamed up with Manchester Campaigns teams to provide hanging basket workshops to brighten up the neighbourhoods.

The aim of the events was for residents to get to know their neighbours a bit better and to have a great time with their families. The grants will be available around May next year too so keep your eyes open for posters and fliers.
