Gardening Course
The six week course was held in Ridgway Street Community Garden, an area created for the community almost ten years ago. Whilst at its best it looked spectacular the garden has fallen into decline. The course aimed to teach residents the basics of creating a beautiful garden whilst improving this community space.
The garden proved an excellent venue as the participants were taught how to clear an overgrown garden, improve neglected lawns, plant and look after seasonal bedding, shrubs and trees and even the basics of growing your own food!! The partipants enjoyed the course so much they are now going to continue to tend the garden and meet weekly on Wednesdays at 5.30pm at Ridgway Street Garden by Church of the Apostles. All are welcome!!
