Camelot trip for local residents

The trip was organised by residents, with the help of Adactus Housing Association, following the completion of refurbishment work on the estate and families were provided with reduced price entry. Coaches to transport residents to Camelot were sponsored by Adactus Housing Association.

The trip followed clear ups of the estate over two weeks by residents and children. The first saw over thirty people come to help weed and plant out bedding plants at Reginald Latham Court - a sheltered accommodation scheme in Miles Platting - as well as sanding and painting benches in their barbeque area. The following week residents took part in a litter pick and clear up at the Sawley Road estate.
